PRODUCTS AND DESCRIPTIONS:

We make every effort to ensure the information supplied on our website is accurate and up to date. Information is provided from third-parties such as manufacturers and suppliers. We cannot be held liable by any party for any consequential or incidental damages that arise out of the use of this website and/or any information contained therein.

WEBSITE OFFERS / SALES:

If an offer has a limited period of validity or is made subject to conditions, stated in the offer.

The offer contains a description of the products. The description will be sufficiently detailed to allow a purchaser of the offer to make a decision. If the The Reef Lounge uses images, they are a true representation of the products. Obvious mistakes or obvious errors in the offer (eg product description) do not bind The Reef Lounge. Also, product changes are possible by the manufacturer without The Reef Lounge being informed.

Each offer contains such information that it is clear to the consumer what rights and obligations are attached to the acceptance of the offer. Including but not limited to:

  • The price including taxes:
  • Any delivery costs if any:
  • The method of payment, delivery or implementation of the agreement:
  • The Limit of period for accepting the offer, or the period for accepting the price / offer:
  • The minimum duration of the distance contract in the event of an agreement that extends to the continuous or periodic delivery of products or services:

PRICING:

During the period of validity stated in the offer, the prices of the products offered may not be increased, except for price changes as a result of changes in VAT rates.

Contrary to the previous paragraph, The Reef Lounge can offer products or services whose prices are subject to fluctuations in the financial market and over which Reef Lounge Aquatics has no influence, with variable prices.

The prices stated in the offer of products or services include VAT of the customer country in the EU, unless it concerns a shipment outside the EU for which no VAT must be charged.

DELIVERY AND IMPLEMENTATION

Reef Lounge Aquatics will take the greatest possible care when receiving orders for products.

The place of delivery is the address that the consumer has made known to Reef Lounge Aquatics.

All refunds will be carried out within 30 days, unless another delivery term has been agreed. This does not apply in situations where delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a Covid-19 lockdown. If delivery is delayed, or if an order cannot be executed in full or in part, the consumer will be notified no later than 30 days after placing the order. In such cases, the consumer has the right to dissolve the agreement without costs, but only after the product has been received.

After dissolution in accordance with the previous paragraph, Reef Lounge Aquatics will immediately refund the amount that the consumer has paid, as soon as the product has been returned.

The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with Reef Lounge Aquatics until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a pre-designated and representative party announced to Reef Lounge Aquatics, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

The consumer is responsible for paying the costs incurred when importing products (e.g., import duties, VAT, etc.) according to the rules of their country. Costs arising from the non-acceptance of the shipment will be charged to the consumer, such as return costs.

Additional Delivery Terms:

  • Live stock orders over €150 will be shipped free of charge.
  • Aquariums are not eligible for free delivery.

RETURN POLICY:

Consumers have the right to return their order within 14 days of delivery or purchase, provided the product is faulty, does not look or work as advertised, is in its original condition, unused, and in the original packaging. To initiate a return, please contact Reef Lounge Aquatics. Refunds for returned products will be processed within 30 days of receiving the item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part. Please note, we do not refund postage for returns and reserve the right to deduct our original shipping costs.
