Crafted with the best LEDs, the optimized output from next-generation HEI Optics, and more color channels, Gen 5 is in a class of its own.
Beyond Peak PAR
More powerful than ever before, the Radion lineup delivers more coverage per fixture. The new single cluster design and optimized optics cut hot-spot PAR by 30% and provide 35% more total output. In the aquarium, this translates to more usable light over more area, creating the widest possible ideal par from your coral.
Advanced Heat Management
EcoTech Marine aims to produce the most minimally intrusive reef aquarium equipment available. The G5 continues to showcase Radion’s sleek styling and small footprint, but is now even quieter. A completely redesigned fan and newly evolved heatsink cool the Gen 5 more efficiently, allowing the fan to run at lower speeds. Your ears will notice a difference.
Mobius Control
More colors mean more channels, and with Mobius, programming and controlling your G5’s increased power is even easier and faster. Mobius means almost instant setup and programming. Local wireless control and programming can be accomplished with either current OS version iOS or Android smart device. Off-site WiFI control is missing from the G5 at launch but will be enabled in the near future. Once again, the Radion will set new standards for technologically advanced and innovative control.
Moonlight
The Generation 5 sets the mood with two dedicated low output moonlight LEDs, each on an independently controllable channel.

Standard Mounting
Configuration Mounting locations on the G5 fixtures are consistent with previous Radions allowing for mounting hardware compatibility. (Single arm mounts require an adapter kit)

The aquarium light for those who know exactly what they want. The Gen 5 Blue is full-spectrum, but LED selection favors the Blue channels and high output for use with our Corallab AB+ spectrum. Put all of your power into Blue.

Great Color, Uniform Spread G5 moves the bar higher for even PAR and stunning color mixing. Even so, there is always room for a little more. Diffuser technology further blends light at a small cost to PAR. G5 model diffuser accessories (sold separately) seamlessly mount to magnets already incorporate in the fixture. The result is a beautifully fitting diffuser accessory that attaches in seconds.

G5 Mounting (All Sold Separately)
- Single Light RMS Mounting
New with Gen 5 are RMS single mounts and accessories. The new single mount RMS kits for the XR15 and XR30 will also work with all previous models of Radion. Upgrade kits to update original RMS kits to be G5 compatible are also available. The new X-Bracket assembly raises the light an additional 1/2 inch without increasing the bracket height. Lights may be mounted at 90-degree increments.
- Multi-Light RMS Kit
All new G5 X-Brackets fit the existing RMS multi- light kit. The multi-light rail kit is available in lengths up to 8ft and allows a stable tank mount solution for large tanks with multiple lights. RMS multi-light kits work with both XR15 and XR30 model lights or a mixture of both.
- RMS Hanging
If tank mounting is not an option for your multi- light rail – or you prefer an even more minimal aesthetic – hang the multi-light rail. New G5 X-Brackets for the XR15 and XR30 are sleek and bring the lights 1/2 inch closer to the rail.
